C6 holds a flat A6 card or an A4 sheet folded twice. It is common for greeting cards, invitations and short letters.
How C6 relates to A and B sizes
In the ISO 269 C series, each C size is slightly larger than the A size with the same number (105 × 148 mm for A6), so a flat A6 sheet fits inside a C6 envelope. The C6 envelope in turn fits inside a B6 envelope (125 × 176 mm).
